Growing Stronger Together

Celebrating National Women's Small Business Month

Studio 6 Fitness turns passion into purpose with support from Comerica

Elizabeth Lindberg is living proof that it’s never too late to start over—and succeed. After a successful career in finance and consumer goods, and following a life-changing divorce in her mid-40s, Elizabeth took a bold leap into entrepreneurship. Today, she is the founder and owner of Studio 6 Fitness, a thriving boutique fitness brand with four locations across the Dallas area.

Studio 6 Fitness blends Pilates-inspired movement with strength training, offering efficient, results-driven workouts. But the story behind the brand is just as powerful as the workouts themselves. Elizabeth, a former Wall Street analyst and Procter & Gamble executive, was a stay-at-home mom when she decided to reinvent herself. She trained in Los Angeles with fitness innovator Sebastien Lagree and opened her first studio in 2012. The community embraced her vision—and she hasn’t looked back since.

Elizabeth’s journey reflects a growing trend: more women are launching businesses later in life. In fact, women over 45 are one of the fastest-growing segments of new entrepreneurs in the U.S., often bringing decades of experience, resilience and purpose to their ventures.

Comerica Bank has played a key role in Studio 6’s growth. When a national lender backed out during a critical expansion phase, Comerica stepped in. “This Lakewood studio wouldn’t be here without Comerica,” Elizabeth says. “They gave me the support of a national bank with the heart of a local partner.”

That spirit of community is something Elizabeth pays forward. After devastating floods in Kerr County, she rallied her team and clients to raise $7,550 for relief efforts through donation-based classes. “Every trainer and front desk staff volunteered their time. Clients even made ‘TX Strong’ hats,” she shares. “Small businesses don’t always get the spotlight, but we show up when it matters.”

Elizabeth Lindberg’s story is a powerful reminder: strength isn’t just built in the gym—it’s built through courage, community and second chances.
