Wendy W. Bridges is the Executive Vice President, Executive Director of Corporate Affairs for Comerica Incorporated and Comerica Bank. Bridges also serves as the Chief of Staff to the Chairman, President and CEO.

Comerica established the Office of Corporate Affairs in November 2021 and appointed Bridges to oversee it. In her role, Bridges is responsible for Comerica’s: 1) Charitable giving activities and serves as Chairman of the Comerica Charitable Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization; 2) Corporate Communications division, including internal communications to all Comerica colleagues, media relations activities nationally and customer service communications; 3) External Affairs, which includes Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) activities, CRA & HMDA governance and reporting, community engagement and colleague volunteerism; 4) Sustainability team, which supports Comerica’s environmentally friendly efforts; 5) Inclusion programming, which includes outreach to veterans and individuals with disabilities; university and business organization partnerships; fostering colleague involvement through market impact teams that drive business to the bank; and shaping a company culture in which all colleagues feel valued, included and respected; 6) Government Relations, including Comerica’s Political Action Committee and lobbying efforts; 7) Field Marketing, a department that manages the company’s hundreds of internal and external events; 8) Corporate Quality, which serves to address customer and regulatory complaints; and 9) Executive Administration department, which supports the Office of the Chairman, including work with the Comerica Incorporated Board of Directors.

Prior to joining Comerica in 2008, Bridges served as the Director of Media Relations for Baylor Health Care System (known today as Baylor Scott & White Health System), a nationally recognized health care provider operating hospitals, surgery centers and other medical facilities throughout Texas. Her 12 years with Baylor Health Care System included a variety of public relations positions of increasing scope and responsibility.

Bridges earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Texas at Austin with a specialization in public relations.

She is an active member in the North Texas community, serving on the board of NOMI Network, a national workforce development nonprofit supporting women who have been or at risk of being trafficked, and Downtown Dallas Inc., and as a sustaining member of the Junior League of Dallas.
