William Groves

William Groves is a Senior Vice President, Private Banking Advisor with Comerica Wealth Management. With over 20 years' experience in the financial industry, he works closely with businesses and individuals, focused on lending strategies, wealth management and interest rate risk management. Will develops and implements business transition, management succession and corporate governance strategy for high-net-worth business owner clients that address changing the ownership and management of a business. He also partners with colleagues in Wealth Management, Commercial and Retail to assist their business owner clients in achieving their comprehensive goal set.

Prior to joining Comerica, Will worked at US Trust/Bank of America as a Senior Vice President where he designed, tested and implemented strategy for achieving the business transition, management succession and corporate governance goals of high-net-worth business owner clients.

Will holds a Masters of Business from the Graduate Executive Program at the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania, as well as an MBA from Loyola University in New Orleans and holds a Bachelors of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. Will lives in the Lakewood area of Dallas, with his wife, Sarah, and two children. An avid tennis player and golfer, he is a member of Lakewood Country Club and actively involved in several non-profit organizations, including The Salvation Army and United Way.
