John McQuiston is a Vice President, Corporate Escrow & 1031 Exchange Team Lead with Comerica Trust. He Manages 1031 exchanges and corporate escrow bank accounts, including: M&A holdback, contractor retention escrows and litigation escrows. Prior to that he was a Vice President with Comerica's Trust Advocacy group, where he reviewed new business for Personal Trust, Advisor Solutions and Estate Administration and evaluated distribution requests and on-going consults.

Before joining Comerica he was an Associate Attorney for Staver & Associates, P.C., where he represented corporate clients in new business formation and transactional matters and counsel for Estate Planning clients, including probate and trust administration. He was with Word Pictures, Inc., as the General Counsel for a Tier-1 supplier to domestic automotive companies, where he was responsible for transactional and employment matters.

A graduate of Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan, John earned a Bachelor of Arts in Public Affairs. He holds a Juris Doctor from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan. John was born and raised in Southeast Michigan. He and his wife have a four-year-old son and live in Sterling Heights. He is an avid golfer, bowler and Detroit sports fan.
