Larry E. Franco

Larry E. Franco is Executive Vice President, National Director of Retail & Small Business Banking at Comerica Bank. He is a member of Comerica’s Management Executive Committee.

Franco joined Comerica in March 2024 as Executive Vice President, National Director of Retail Banking & Operations after spending more than 25 years in the retail banking space. In November 2024, he was promoted to his current role where he oversees the development and leadership of Comerica’s network of banking centers that spans across five states, along with directing Comerica’s Small Business Banking team. Additional responsibilities include leading Risk and Operations, as well a Network Distribution and Workforce Planning.

Prior to his arrival at Comerica, Franco served as PNC Bank Southwest Territory Executive, Executive Vice President, where he where he led a team of 3,200 across more than 500 retail banking centers. He also served 14 years at BBVA, starting as a District Retail Executive, moving into positions of increasing scope and responsibility in banking center management, then culminating in his leadership role over the retail network of 644 banks and more than 4,000 team members as Senior Executive Vice President, Head of Retail Banking.

Franco remains active in the community, serving as a Board Member of Junior Achievement of Southeast Texas. He is also an Executive Advisory Board Member on the National Basketball Retired Players Association.

He earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Phoenix and completed the Executive Leadership Program at Harvard Business School.
